Ownership
Tenant Representation Services Pty Limited (TRS) was formed in 2001 and the business is solely owned by Mark McGrath.

- Following a 20-year property career as a General Practice Chartered Surveyor, Mark held senior property positions throughout Australasia and was formerly:
- Head of Tenant Services Australia (Sydney - Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu)
- Regional Property Asset Director (Hong Kong - AT&T Asia/Pacific & China)
- Director Corporate Services (Hong Kong / Singapore - Colliers International).
Assisting Tenants and No Conflict
A market niche was indentified to assist tenants from a truly independent perspective. Most property companies, contractors and banks provided “independent” services to tenants however they also provided opposing negotiations and valuations services and accepted fees from Landlords, Institutions and Developers – there was a clear conflict.
TRS was formed to oppose the conflicting providers and support the tenants through Transaction Management and Construction Probity services thereby safeguarding the tenant through the entire lease negotiations and fit out process.
Team Structure
TRS operates under a flat structure whereby each team member is accountable to the Client. There are no subordinates within TRS and each project will involve a minimum of two qualified experts.
Each team member is highly trained and experienced in commercial Transaction Management and Construction Probity. Their experiences encompass National and International markets, legal, design and construction negotiations and management of entire projects.

One of the key aspects of TRS is our processes, supportive documentation and proprietary software, the OPEX Solution© (See OPEX).
All processes and support tools enable open communication and transparency throughout the Transaction Management process and combined with market knowledge and expertise the system provides highly successful results to tenants.
